The above image of a platypus was taken by one of our cabin guests, so whether you hang out by the lake trying to spot these elusive creatures, or decide to explore further, Maleny has a lot to offer. The town is a 5 minute drive away, and even closer is Mary Cairncross Reserve and Maleny Dairies, with King Ludwigs German Restaurant and Tiffany's of Maleny just across the road.
